Amelie Skiba and Abdalla ElJaafari win two medals at the National Karate League Grand Final

Specifically, the athletes from the Poliarrecife Karate Club achieved a silver and a bronze medal in the competition

Between December 12 and 14, the Grand Final of the National Karate League RFEK and Iberdrola League was held in Puerto de la Cruz, on the island of Tenerife. Four karatekas from the Club Karate Poliarrecife attended, having qualified among the top eight in Spain in their respective categories.

For her part, and as her most outstanding participation, Amelie Skiba reached the second step of the podium in the Junior Female Kumite -59 kg category, winning the Silver medal. It so happens that the athlete from Lanzarote was the image on the poster for the Women's Final (Iberdrola League), thus being recognized as one of the most outstanding karatekas, and the most representative of Canarian women's karate at the moment.In the Men's Veterans Kumite Category 1, -75 kg, Abdalla ElJaafari also took to the podium after winning the Bronze medal. Also noteworthy was the performance of Haddu Hamed, in the Men's Veterans Kumite Category 2, +75 kg, who managed to finish the competition in fifth place, and Caleb Padrón, who placed seventh in his category, Men's Junior Kumite -48 kg

With this competition, the Arrecife Karate Club, whose training headquarters are located at the Titerroy Municipal Pavilion, closes the year, but is already preparing for the start of the 2026 competition, in which it will participate at the regional, national, and international levels, as it has been doing for years, and with very good results.
