The Lanzarote referee Alejandro Hernández Hernández is part of the team that referees in the Women's World Cup currently being held between the countries of Australia and New Zealand.
The referee acts as a VAR referee together with his colleagues Marta Huerta, Guadalupe Porras and Juan Martínez. Likewise, he will participate in the matches played between July 20 and August 20.
To date, he has had two performances as VAR or AVAR in the matches held between Denmark and China last Saturday, and in the Brazil vs. Panama match this Monday.
Alejandro Hernández is a member of the FIFA committee. In addition, he was already designated in the Men's World Cup held in Qatar last year.
