There are dangerous far-right movements.
And then there is the Spanish far-right, which has decided never to bother the master,
even if that means staying silent when the sovereignty of others is questioned… or its own.
While Santiago Abascal rushes to thank Donald Trump for his intervention in Venezuela,
a unilateral operation outside international law,
he has been unable to comment on Greenland.
Not a single word.
Greenland is European territory, linked to Denmark.
Trump has hinted at its purchase and strategic control as if it were just another real estate asset.
And Vox remains absolutely silent.
That silence is not neutrality.
It is submission.
The far-right in other European countries may be reactionary,
but they do not kneel when European sovereignty is threatened.
Vox does.
If tomorrow someone were to put the Canary Islands, Ceuta, or Melilla on the table
as strategic pieces to please Washington,
Vox would not defend territory: it would negotiate a smile.
They talk about homeland, but only when it doesn't bother the master.
They talk about sovereignty, but they stay silent when Trump speaks.
This is not ideology.
It is not strategy.
It is vassalage.
And a homeland is not defended on one's knees.
