Yaiza declares three days of official mourning for the death of Guayo Rodríguez

The municipality's flag will fly at half-mast, as a sign of mourning and respect, until Wednesday, April 9 in all public buildings

The Yaiza City Council has declared three days of official mourning for the death this past Sunday of the Popular Party councilor, Alejandro Manuel Rodríguez Caraballo, "as a testimony of the pain of the people of Yaiza in the face of such a regrettable loss," reads the text of the Decree signed by the mayor, Óscar Noda.

The municipality's flag will fly at half-mast, as a sign of mourning and respect, until Wednesday, April 9 in all public buildings.

The Institution expresses its condolences and solidarity, as well as the feeling of sorrow of the residents of Yaiza, to the family, friends and loved ones of Alejandro Manuel Rodríguez Caraballo, affectionately known by everyone as Guayo. "It has been a very hard blow for the municipality. We wish his loved ones much strength and resignation," says Óscar Noda.
