Yaiza published this Thursday the tender for carrying out improvement works in the Atlantic Park of Playa Blanca with an investment close to 340,000 euros. The objective is to renew the fencing and the pavement of the sports courts in this space intended for leisure, damaged by wear and tear and adverse weather conditions, and to install shaded areas, so that companies interested in the award of this contract can consult the technical and administrative documents at www.yaiza.es and submit offers until Friday, October 23.
The Administration presided over by Óscar Noda proposes to modernize the two tennis courts, including their equipment and a new enclosure, the installation of doors with telematic locks for the paddle tennis courts, an enclosure to secure the electrical panel of the court lighting system, the creation of an enclosure for the oval multi-sport court and the repair of its sports pavement.

In terms of sports facilities, the Councilor for Public Works and Sports, Ángel Lago, reports on the progress of the expansion project of the San Marcial Rubicón sports center, where the Institution is building multi-purpose courts for beach sports (1.3 million euros), in Playa Blanca, while in Uga the conditioning works of the multi-purpose court (952,000 euros) continue, located next to the school, in addition to the completion of the beautification works of the surroundings and the construction of the parking lot of the Canarian wrestling ground (1.3 million euros), also located in the town of Uga.
