On the morning of this Monday, September 18, the works of the 'Mast Street Adaptation Project' have begun in Playa Honda, reports the San Bartolomé City Council.

With an execution period of "twelve months" and an award budget of "940,896 euros", these works will mean a "substantial improvement of the street in terms of accessibility", with the "adaptation of the road to a single platform". In addition, with the incorporation of "green areas" and "new street furniture", it will be possible to "considerably improve the aesthetics of the road", as well as make "the transit more pleasant" through it. All this, "without prejudice" to the parking spaces that the area already had.

From the consistory, being aware of "the inconveniences" generated by these interventions, "however necessary they may be", a letter has been sent to all the neighbors who may be affected, so that, in the event of any incident, they can contact the Councilor for Public Services, Raúl de León, at the telephone number 626.077.756, thus minimizing "the inconveniences" that arise during these months of duration of the works.

The works are in charge of the Canary Islands Development Fund (FDCAN), with Lanzagrava S.L. being the successful bidder for its execution.
