The company Climatega has been awarded the public tender of the Art, Culture and Tourism Centers for the supply and installation of air conditioning systems in the store and the “El Diablo” Restaurant, in the Montañas del Fuego, for a value of 415,808.79 euros.
The works will consist of adapting the space and connecting the equipment to the center's electricity supply to provide air conditioning to infrastructures where very high temperatures are usually recorded. They have a favorable resolution from both the Island Heritage Service and the Timanfaya National Park, and will be executed in close collaboration with the César Manrique Foundation.
“It is a milestone for the Entity”, said the counselor of the Tourist Centers, Ángel Vázquez, “the solution to a historical problem that, at the same time, allows us to activate the strategy that we have designed to resize the restaurant with the best natural barbecue in the world”.
The supply and implementation works of the air conditioning equipment will be executed within 10 weeks from the formalization of the contract.
