The Board of Directors of the State Commercial Company Aguas de las Cuencas de España (ACUAES) sets until March 27 at 13:00 hours the deadline for the submission of offers for the construction of the expansion and improvement of the Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) of Tías.
This project, which has funding from the European Regional Development Fund, has a base tender budget without taxes of 20,135,839.35 euros with an execution period that is extended to 25 months for lot nº 1 and 17 months for lot nº2.
Lot nº1, which consists of the construction of the wastewater treatment plant, has a base bidding budget without taxes of 15,141,531.94 euros; while lot nº2, referring to the exterior pipelines, pumping, and tanks (Puerto Calero), has a base budget without taxes of 4,994,307 euros.
The mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz, points out that “the expansion of the wastewater treatment plant is a fundamental project for the future of Tías. This infrastructure not only significantly improves the capacity and efficiency of wastewater treatment, but also strengthens the environmental sustainability of our municipality, preparing us for the challenges of the coming decades.”
“Having a 25-month execution period for the main lot guarantees that the works can be planned and executed with the highest technical quality and with the least impact for the citizens. It is a key investment that strengthens our commitment to a modern, efficient, and environmentally friendly water cycle,” he adds.
On the other hand, on April 10 at 13:00 hours, the deadline for submitting bids to provide Technical Assistance Services to the Construction Management in the Supervision and Control of the Execution, in the Safety and Health Coordination and in the Environmental Supervision and Control of the Works Construction Project for the Expansion and Improvement of the Tías EAR and pumping from Puerto Calero, with a base bidding budget without taxes of 998,621.46 euros, ends.
