Vox has reiterated this Tuesday that "breaking is breaking" and has warned the regional presidents of the PP that if they give in to the "pressure" from the Government and Genoa and accept the distribution of unaccompanied immigrant minors by the communities, they will be forced to govern in minority or agree with the PSOE.

Vox sources have assured that they will comply with what was said this Monday by their president, Santiago Abascal, and that they will abandon the governments they share in Aragon, Castilla y León, Comunidad Valenciana, Extremadura and Murcia, if the popular ones agree to the distribution of unaccompanied immigrant minors with the Government.

The same sources have rejected that, if they finally leave the governments in those communities, they will move to the opposition, which does not imply, they have pointed out, that they will vote in the regional parliaments with the left, but depending on the content of the initiatives.

"Breaking is breaking and if they give in to the pressure from (Pedro) Sánchez, we will break," said the Vox spokesperson in Congress, Pepa Millán, at a press conference.

She insisted that if the distribution is agreed in the sector conference this Wednesday, the popular presidents will have to "govern in minority or agree with the PSOE, with whom we have seen that they have no problem," she said in allusion to the agreement on the reform of the General Council of the Judiciary or the negotiations on the renewal of the members of the Central Electoral Board.

And it is that the government agreements they signed with the PP in those communities "are not a joke" nor a "blank check", stressed the spokesperson, who has expressed, in this sense, her confidence in the regional presidents.

"We have many reasons to trust that the regional presidents are going to do the right thing (...) and resist Sánchez's pressure," said Millán, for whom what the PP leader, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, may think is "irrelevant".

She has thus invited the territorial leaders to act against the national leadership, if they consider that "Feijóo is wrong" by agreeing with the Government on the distribution of immigrant minors to alleviate the situation in the Canary Islands.

Millán stressed that "it is not a question of solidarity", but of enforcing the laws and avoiding the call effect, which, in her opinion, is being caused by the Government's immigration policy.

To avoid this, Vox has presented this Tuesday a non-legal proposal for debate in the Interior Commission whose main objective is to prevent the distribution of unaccompanied foreign minors by the communities.

The initiative, which points out that the number of unaccompanied immigrant minors has increased by 221.4% in eight years, also urges to implement all necessary measures to close the reception centers for these minors, considering that they "create insecurity" in the streets.
Along with this non-legal proposal, Vox has presented another one to prevent terrorist attacks during the summer, in which it reiterates its proposal to expel "immediately" illegal immigrants and to increase police personnel, especially in areas where the population increases at this time of year.
