About 200 people enjoy the popular food of the VivHaría Association

The Malpeis and Swing del Norte parrandas provided the soundtrack for the celebration

The VivHaría Cultural and Festival Association and the Haría City Council, held last Saturday, August 2, a popular meal in the town square. This event, framed within the festival program in honor of Nuestra Señora de las Nieves, brought together about 200 people.

The mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba, wanted to highlight the involvement of the organizing group and the value of this type of initiative. “VivHaría represents the active commitment of citizens to our traditions and festivals. From the Consistory we will continue to support these events that strengthen coexistence among the population and revitalize public spaces,” he highlighted.

For his part, the Councilor for Festivities, Alberto de León, thanked the participation of the musical groups and all the volunteers who made the activity possible, pointing out that “these celebrations are essential to preserve the community character of the northern town.”

The meeting, which brought together neighbors and visitors, was also accompanied by the live performances of the Malpeis parrandas and the Swing del Norte group.
