Unidos por Yaiza accuses former councilman Javier Camacho of impersonating the party

The political party states that the former councilor allegedly sent a document on behalf of 75 people to announce their intention to leave the party due to their adherence to the island project Juntos por Lanzarote

The Mayor of Yaiza, Óscar Noda, together with the Councilor for Celebrations, Javier Camacho

The political party Unidos por Yaiza (UPY) made public on Thursday morning that former councilor Javier Camacho, who resigned in July 2024 from continuing to lead several areas within the council and left his seat, allegedly impersonated 75 party members in a document sent to the party's General Secretariat.

According to the statement released by Óscar Noda, Camacho allegedly sent an email on Wednesday night with a list of 75 names accompanied by signatures and ID numbers, in some cases illegible, of alleged UPY members. This text would be accompanied by a letterhead stating that these people wanted to leave the party due to their adherence to the Federation of parties Juntos por Lanzarote.
