YEARS AGO HE THREATENED ON THE SOCIAL NETWORK TO GIVE "HOSTIAS" TO THE "DOGFLAUTAS"

The former regional deputy of the PP for Lanzarote Sigfrid Soria, who four years ago was removed from his organic responsibilities in the party after threatening on Twitter to give "a hostia" to the "dogflauta" who made a scratch on him, has once again unleashed the controversy on this social network, to the point that Twitter has suspended his account.

"Complaining about getting hit with a stick for being a squatter on 1-0 is like complaining about having AIDS when you do it bareback as a gay man," Sigfrid Soria published this Thursday on Twitter. As he himself explained to La Voz, the first to reproach him for that tweet was the councilor of Somos in the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Tomás López. "He doesn't follow me, nor I him, but he addressed me and told me that it was an outrage. To me and seven, eight or ten LGTBi organizations, as if reproaching me for the content of the tweet," said the former PP deputy, who was removed from his organic functions in the party after the controversy he generated four years ago on this same social network.

"I answer him, but also to the others, because that possibility exists, telling him that this tweet is based on legal, judicial and health reflections, in which I totally ratify myself. The next tweet he sent to me and all those organizations is that he was going to denounce me and that's where things stood, but after a while Twitter suspended the account," added Sigfrid Soria.

Thus, Soria believes that Twitter decided to close his account after Tomás López "mobilized" a "massive rejection" in the social networks of the LGTBi sector. "My account is suspended because I am really persecuted by the gay community, this is very clear," he said.

"I would keep it if Twitter reinstated my account"

The former popular deputy assures that his intention with the tweet he published "was not to offend anyone" and, in fact, he has ratified the content of the same, to the point that he has pointed out that "he would keep it" if Twitter reinstated his account. "The explanation is that those who occupied the schools on October 1, knowing that it was judicially prohibited, were exposed to the police evicting them and, therefore, to getting hit with a stick or two. If you go to something prohibited, and you confront public order, you risk what happened. The same as that is the homosexual who does it without protection, who then does not complain if he gets infected with AIDS," he argued.

With this, Sigfrid Soria does not consider that he has said "any nonsense". "The prevalence of AIDS in the gay community is 67%. Therefore, the majority of people infected with AIDS are gay. Then I am not putting any nonsense, because what I have not done is make the comment that heterosexuals are exempt from contracting AIDS." "They are 180 characters, it doesn't give for more," replied the former PP deputy when asked why he only referred to the gay community in his message.

In addition to this new controversy, Sigfrid Soria already occupied space in the media last week, when he summoned the press to the Courts to announce the presentation of a complaint to the Prosecutor's Office against Carles Puigdemont and Carme Forcadell "for outrage to Spain"
