Tías welcomes the inauguration of two trainee officers of the Local Police

These agents will be joined by the incorporation of four more police officers

The mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz, presided this Thursday over the official inauguration ceremony of two trainee officers of the Local Police, who have accessed through competitive examination by internal promotion.

From October 9 to November 26, they will have to complete a training course online, and later they will take another face-to-face course at the Canary Islands Security Academy, from November 27 to December 1, having to pass a period of 1,200 hours of practice at the Local Police Headquarters.

After the inauguration, the accidental head of the Local Police, Víctor Hernández González, and officer José Miguel Morín Pérez presented the badges to the trainee officers, Francisco Manuel Jiménez Martagón and H.G. Hernández García.

"On behalf of the corporation I represent, I congratulate you and wish you a fruitful professional career at the service of the citizens, in the prevention of crime and in collaboration with the rest of the Security Forces and Corps," said the mayor.

The government team of the Tías City Council, formed by PSOE and Unidas SÍ Podemos, confirm their "commitment" to promoting security and "making available" to the Police Force all the means and resources available to the council to facilitate their work.

In fact, to this promotion, we should add the future incorporation of four more police officers through the selection process of the General Directorate of Security and Emergencies of the Government of the Canary Islands.
