The mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz, and the Councilor for Festivities, Miriam Hernández, thank and value the work of the different security forces, health services, volunteers and municipal workers during the Carmen festivities in La Tiñosa.

The government group of the Tías City Council, formed by PSOE and Unidas Sí Podemos, highlights "the enormous professionalism" of the agents in their tasks of protecting and monitoring public order, citizen security and traffic.

“The coordination has been essential to guarantee the enjoyment of the festivities with total normality and without major incidents”, declared Cruz Saavedra.

The councilors extend their gratitude to the Civil Guard, the Canary Police, the Local Police of Tías, the Tías Civil Protection, the Boluntis Volunteer Firefighters, the Island Ambulance Service (SIA) and Emerlan Lanzarote.

José Juan Cruz and Miriam Hernández emphasize the great influx of people who were able to enjoy the numerous activities of the program, which took place from July 29 to August 11 in the Plaza del Varadero. They also congratulate the citizens for their civic behavior during the celebrations.
