The Tías City Council has proposed to the competent administrations to incorporate two roads into the road network of an insular nature (LZ-503 and LZ-506) and to change the character of a section of road in the center of Tías so that it becomes local ownership (LZ-35).
The mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz, expresses his confidence that the proposals made will be resolved soon in order to improve the management of the aforementioned roads. "We presented these proposals to the Cabildo in mid-June and we have continued with the relevant procedures," he said.
As proposed by the City Council, the section of road LZ-35 as it passes through the center of Tías should change from an insular to a local character. "Its removal as a road of an insular nature is proposed," it is pointed out. The reference section would be between the roundabout intersection of roads LZ-35 and LZ-505 and the intersection between road LZ35 and the access road to the mining area (hardware store-crusher section).
Insular ownership
Likewise, it is proposed to incorporate into the road network of an insular nature the road link section between LZ-503 and the Guime-Montaña Blanca road, that is, the existing road section between the crossing to the center of Montaña Blanca and the LZ-503 road in the town of Masdache.
The third proposal would affect the road link section between road LZ-506 and LZ-2. It is proposed to incorporate the section of the existing road between road LZ506 and road LZ-2, through the area of the Secondary Education Institute (IES) of Yaiza to Puerto Calero, into the road network of an insular nature.
