The Tías City Council has made effective the payment of subsidies for sports schools. With a total budget item amounting to 354,136 euros, the government group expedites these essential funds to guarantee the stability and planning of the clubs.

This important institutional investment directly impacts the daily lives of 14 sports schools in the municipality, allowing more than 1,500 children to benefit from a quality, accessible, and safe sports offering.

The mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz Saavedra, has highlighted the administrative effort to be the first to comply with the payment: "Supporting grassroots sports is not just a declaration of intent, it is providing our clubs with the necessary economic resources in a timely manner. Being the first to pay these grants shows that efficient management is at the service of our families and the health of our young people".

For his part, the councilor for the Sports area, Ismael Cruz, has highlighted the unifying role that these schools play in Tías society:
“Behind those 1,500 minor beneficiaries, there is invaluable work in training in values, companionship, and healthy lifestyle habits. With these 354,136 euros, we ensure that the 14 schools in the municipality continue to be a social engine and that no child is left out of the sports system for economic reasons".

With this pioneering payment, the Tías City Council ensures "consolidating its leadership in the management of grassroots sports, reaffirming a roadmap where physical activity and support for local sports entities are fundamental pillars for the well-being of the municipality".
