The Public Works Area of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, directed by Vice President Jacobo Medina, announces the good progress of the transformation and creation of free spaces and playgrounds in Tahíche.
Medina recently visited two of them together with the Councilor for Roads and Works of the Teguise City Council, Eugenio Robayna, with whom he verified the "good pace" of the aforementioned works.
"We continue to bet on the improvement and creation of these places of enjoyment for both children and adults," said the vice president, who celebrated that "both the outdoor courts and the playgrounds" are already visible.
The Public Works Area of the Cabildo de Lanzarote thus continues with the plan to improve public infrastructure and generate, without a doubt, meeting and leisure spaces for the citizens of Lanzarote.
Medina also stressed the importance of "continuing to promote infrastructures that respond to the needs of families and promote active and healthy lifestyles. These spaces, which will soon be available for the use of our neighbors, are an investment in the quality of life and in the future of our island," added the vice president.
The Cabildo de Lanzarote thus reaffirms its objective of providing the municipality of Teguise and the entire island of Lanzarote with modern infrastructures that are adapted to current needs, in order to build a more inclusive and cohesive island.
This work is one of the three major interventions that the Cabildo de Lanzarote, through the Municipal Cooperation Plan, has carried out in the municipality of Teguise for the renovation of sports courts and children's leisure areas, with an investment that amounts to almost 460,000 euros.
