The San Bartolomé City Council donates 50,000 euros to those affected by the DANA in Valencia

It will be in the form of a direct subsidy that will be transferred to the Provincial Council

The San Bartolomé City Council grants 50,000 euros to those affected by the DANA that devastated different parts of the peninsular geography last week, causing serious material damage and numerous fatalities. This aid will materialize in the form of a direct subsidy and will be transferred to the Provincial Council of Valencia.

The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, expresses his solidarity with the victims of the tragedy that occurred in Valencia, stating that "the municipality has always been characterized by being supportive and we do not want to remain on the sidelines of this catastrophe. In this way, we show the support of the corporation and that of the neighbors in the face of this situation." In addition, he highlights San Bartolomé's commitment to collaborate in initiatives to support those affected.

For his part, the Councilor for Finance, Antonio Rocío, explained that "with this aid we want to contribute to the financing of the necessary actions to alleviate the personal and material damages that affect the living conditions of the Valencian population."

The purpose or aim of the subsidy is the urgent health, psychological and social care for those affected, accommodation for those affected, basic subsistence needs of the population, essential household goods, repair of damage to habitual residences, repair of damage to industrial, commercial and service establishments, repair of damage to repair of damage to restore essential services and infrastructures, repair of damage to farms, establishments or agricultural and livestock productions.
