The Cabildo of Lanzarote, through the Department of Public Works, has proceeded to tender the works for the rehabilitation of the road surface of the LZ-30 road, between kilometer points 12+000 to 22+560, in the section between the towns of Masdache and Uga.

This was announced by the president of the Cabildo, María Dolores Corujo, who pointed out that "this new work will involve an investment of close to one and a half million euros, from the Corporation's own funds." "It is essential to provide greater safety to our roads, so in addition to improving the asphalt and eliminating potholes and deformities, the horizontal and vertical signage of this busy road will also be improved,” she added.

Specifically, the base budget for bidding for this intervention amounts to 1,485,404.36 euros. As explained by the Councilor for Public Works, Planning and Project Coordination, Jacobo Medina, “the work, which will have an approximate execution period of three months, consists of two actions, on the one hand, the reinforcement of the pavement with an intermediate layer of asphalt mix to achieve greater comfort in circulation, and another surface layer to improve the adhesion of vehicles. On the other hand, the placement of cat's eyes and vertical signage that is deteriorated will also be carried out.”

Companies interested in this contracting, which will be carried out through a simplified open procedure, can download all the information and applications through the page https://licitacion.cabildodelanzarote.com/ and submit their offers until July 28.
