The PSOE of Teguise moved to Tahíche the campaign "door to door, town to town", of meeting and citizen participation, which it develops in all the towns of the municipality.

With the aim of listening to the needs of its more than 4,000 inhabitants, the socialist candidate for mayor, Marcos Bergaz, together with the rest of the Socialist Team, toured the town to confirm "how much remains to be done".

"After 14 years of government of the Canarian Coalition (CC), numerous streets, spaces and public facilities are waiting for an action plan to solve their shortcomings," laments Bergaz.

"Thus - indicates the candidate - the existence of streets without sidewalks, with lack or insufficient lighting and the presence of countless architectural barriers, an asphalt that asks to be updated, precarious garden areas and lack of sanitation, to which is added the presence of sports courts with a pavement as unappetizing as the pitch and playgrounds without shade or adapted".

"The neighbors deserve much more, like the athletes who suffer the habitual 'blackouts' of a pavilion and soccer field powered by a 'gadget' that snaps thousands of euros a month", they denounce from the PSOE.

"It is paradoxical that the main investment of the Canarian Coalition government in this town has been the acquisition of a plot in Tahíche bajo for 3'5 million that, however, lacks use and possibilities of enjoyment for the population", says Bergaz.

Finally, Bergaz reaffirms "the desire of his team to be Government from May 28 to carry out the initiatives presented from the opposition to improve Tahíche, unfortunately rejected by CC".
