The PSOE expands its majority in Tías by adding ten councilors

With nearly 43% of the votes, the socialist mayor José Juan Cruz was very close to an absolute majority

With nearly 43% of the votes, the socialist candidacy for the Tías city council finally obtained 10 councilors, one more than in the previous elections, and came close to an absolute majority for the team led by the socialist mayor of the municipality, José Juan Cruz.

Cruz thanked the citizens of his municipality for "the support for the socialist party to be the most voted candidacy".

He said that "from minute one he will be willing to continue working to solve all the problems that arise in the local administration of Tías through direct contact with citizens and groups."

The Popular Party obtained the second position in the municipality with 29.04% of the votes and 7 councilors. Coalición Canaria is in third place with 9.05% of the votes and 2 councilors.

Podemos also obtained representation with 5.23% of the votes and Vox, which also managed to exceed 5% and obtained a councilor.
