A "parallel disconnection" of the Arrecife 3 and Costa Teguise 3 lines has left part of both towns without power this Wednesday afternoon. The power outage occurred at 15:55 hours, according to La Voz from the electricity company.

According to Endesa's first estimates, the fault would have affected about 5,000 customers. Some have recovered the supply in five minutes and "at most in 20 minutes", according to the company, the light had already returned to almost all areas. However, about 50 users were still without power two hours later.

All of them were concentrated "in the Lloret industrial area", where the fault seems to be, as it is the only area that they have not been able to recover when restoring the supply. As it is underground cabling, the technicians were trying to locate the exact point of the incident, in order to resolve it.
