The new edition of the popular Fisiosan race brings together more than 600 people in Playa Honda

This year's event featured a five-kilometer race course, a race for the children's category for boys and girls from the age of two, and a walking test.

The San Bartolomé City Council celebrates the success of the new edition of the Fisiosan race, an event that unites sport and solidarity and that has taken place once again on Playa Honda Avenue, with the participation of more than 600 people of all ages

The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, who participated in the test accompanied by the entire Government group, highlighted "the contribution of this type of event to the visibility and support towards health problems such as, in this case, autism." He also thanked and congratulated Fisiosan for their work in organizing the race and all the people who wanted to contribute to this cause by taking part in this event. 

Similarly, the Councilor for Sports, Alexis Hernández, highlighted "the commitment shown by the population, gathering once again to support the objective set by Fisiosan", which on this occasion was to raise awareness about autism and allocate the funds to the Sentir TEA association

This year's event featured a five-kilometer race course, a race for the children's category for boys and girls from the age of two, and a walking test.

In total, some 600 people participated, divided between 35 solidarity bibs, 130 boys and girls, 270 people in the 5K race and 165 in the walk. The winners of the 5K race were Tinguaro Quintero, Rayco Hernández and Diego López, in the Men's category, and Yadira Pérez, Sara Muñoz and Cristina Álvarez, in the Women's category. 

Finally, it should be noted that thanks to the participation of all these people, the event managed to raise a total of 2,770 euros to donate to the Sentir TEA association.
