The San Bartolomé City Council is putting out to tender the management, operation and maintenance of the Playa Honda Sports Center, for an amount of 537,390 euros. Companies interested in submitting their application will have until February 21 and the contract will be for five years, extendable.
After the completion of the previous contract, during the period of the COVID-19 pandemic, the City Council is again putting this contract out to tender "once the administrative requirements involved in this type of concession have been resolved", they point out from the City Council.
The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, explains that the Playa Honda Sports Center, with an investment that exceeded the investment by the City Council of more than two million euros, "is a space of great value".
“With this action we propose to the youth of the municipality a space where they can develop their sports and social activity”, Pérez emphasizes.
For his part, the Councilor for Works and Sports, Raúl de León, explains that “the City Council has been providing the town of Playa Honda with new spaces and facilities in order to promote sports activity”.
Among the spaces for management and maintenance in the Playa Honda Sports Center is a cafeteria, reception, two paddle tennis courts, two multipurpose rooms of 98 square meters, a bio-healthy area, a skate park, a 40x20 multipurpose court, a mini-basketball court, two toilets and two changing rooms.
Companies interested in registering for the tender may do so through the State Contracting Platform.
