The San Simeón cemetery in La Graciosa already has 15 new niches, after the completion of the works that were awarded at the end of September.

The delegate councilor in La Graciosa, Alicia Páez, and the councilor for works of Teguise, Eugenio Robayna, went to receive the new structures before their installation in the Caleta de Sebo cemetery, which is also "fine-tuning" its facilities in preparation for the upcoming celebration of All Saints' Day.

“We have been sprucing up the cemeteries in the municipality with more effort for weeks, including the one in La Graciosa, for the days leading up to November 1, when many relatives always come to visit their loved ones,” said the mayor of Teguise, Oswaldo Betancort. In addition, he recalls that “both in La Villa and in Guatiza, Tao and Caleta de Sebo, there will be special opening hours to the public”.

From October 29 to November 2, from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m., you can go with minimal safety regulations to ensure compliance with the antiCovid protocol, and during those days you can check the result of the work carried out in all the facilities,” recalls the Councilor for Cemeteries, Eugenio Robayna.
