The Cabildo of Lanzarote is starting the installation works of three self-consumption photovoltaic plants in the municipality of Tías. This plan is part of the project called 'Energy efficiency and renewable energies' in order to promote sustainability and bring this reality closer to the population.
This work consists of the installation of three self-consumption and generation photovoltaic panels, on the roof of the Town Hall headquarters, of self-consumption photovoltaic plant of 18 kw with a budget of 26,652.63 euros; on the roofs of the CEIP La Asomada-Mácher of photovoltaic generation of 20 kw with a budget of 39,619.36 euros; and on the roof of the Senior Center of Puerto del Carmen, of self-consumption photovoltaic plant of 10 kw with a budget of 18,383.52 euros, amounting the investment to a total of 84,655.41 euros.
The works are fully financed by a direct nominated subsidy granted by the General Directorate of Energy belonging to the Ministry of Ecological Transition, Fight against Climate Change and Territorial Planning of the Government of the Canary Islands.
