The Haría Municipality Platform has announced that it will present a motion to the next City Council plenary session in which it will request the declaration of La Garita de Arrieta beach "as smoke and noise-free."
"Every day the number of people who come to the seashore to contemplate and hear what nature has given us is more frequent," they point out from the formation, from where they point out, however, that "unfortunately external invasions are occurring that, in some cases, not only bother people who want to enjoy this place, but are also invaded by harmful effects."
Therefore, given that they consider that La Garita beach constitutes "one of the jewels of the municipality of Haría", they will propose to the plenary session that it be declared "free of noise and smoke" and that "the necessary measures be taken to prohibit smoking and at the same time prohibit any type of noise that generates or violates the tranquility in any moment of any person who may wish to approach this emblematic beach." An initiative that the Haría Municipality Platform affirms to present "in its commitment to the environment and exercising its right as a political group."
