The Civil Guard of Lanzarote has seized ten marijuana plants that were found on the balcony of an apartment on Arpón Street, in Puerto del Carmen, which have been handed over to the Arrecife Duty Court. The operation has resulted in the arrest of a 32-year-old citizen from Telde (Gran Canaria), who has been charged with a crime against Public Health.
At the same time, in Las Breñas, Gran Canaria, the Civil Guard has arrested a 57-year-old German man after finding a "Cannabis Sativa" plantation in his garden. The agents have seized a total of 12 plants with a size of just over a meter and a half, which were in the final stage of growth.
