The last group of minors between 6 and 12 years of age, enrolled in the Chinija Summer Creative University, began this Wednesday the activities planned for the third fortnight. Tours of the Arrecife marina environment, recycled paper making, storytelling, biodanza, among other leisure proposals, will take place until August 29 and will combine play with awareness of sustainability values.

The three cycles of the summer project have hung the 'sold out' sign and to date have obtained a high degree of satisfaction among families, both for their content and free nature and for the facilities for work-life balance, with the possibility of early pick-up and late departure.

The Councilor for Culture of the Arrecife City Council, Abigail González, has expressed herself "very pleased with the excellent reception" of the Chinija University, which celebrates its second edition this year "and which, in all probability, we will continue to organize in the future, to alleviate the pressure on households with minors during these summer dates and offer a fun and qualified camp".

The Councilor of the Biosphere Reserve, Samuel Martín, has also highlighted the results of the collaboration with the capital's Culture Council "a common effort that allows us to have central and accessible spaces and offer a public activity, at no cost to families and with all the guarantees for the little ones".

The Chinija Summer Creative University is managed by the company Tágora Estudios e Intervención Social, which provides the team of monitors and is responsible for the coordination of the participating professionals, such as the Biodanza professor Pedro Royo, the storyteller Vicky Dos Santos, the cultural manager David Machado, the biologist responsible for Arrecife Natura, Matías Hernández, or the multidisciplinary artist, Laura Balde.
