The Cabildo of Lanzarote opens the deadline for applications for study grants for the 2022/2023 academic year

The deadline for submitting applications is "one month" from "this Thursday, May 4"

The Cabildo of Lanzarote informs citizens of the opening of the application period for scholarships for official studies corresponding to the 2022/2023 academic year. In addition, the payment of aid for the 2021/2022 academic year will be processed soon.

Those interested in accessing the scholarship call for the current academic year have a period of one month from this Thursday, May 4 to submit their applications, they say.

“These scholarships are endowed with a total of 700,000 euros and are aimed at students who are studying both on and off the island”, explains Dolores Corujo.

In total, according to Myriam Barros, “a total of 569 scholarships have been announced in different modalities, in order to help those families and students who need it”.

The scholarships are intended to "attend to or cover the expenses derived from students pursuing official studies with validity in the national territory", such as "the payment of public prices and academic fees, travel, accommodation, maintenance and/or instrumental resources necessary for said studies during the course", the Cabildo states.

In the modality of scholarships for official face-to-face studies outside the island, 158 scholarships have been announced for university studies of Degree and Higher and Artistic Studies with an individual amount of 2,000 euros; 25 scholarships for official Master's studies with an individual amount of 1,000 euros; 30 scholarships for Higher Professional Training studies, each endowed with 1,000 euros.

In addition to 15 complementary scholarships for Student Mobility Programs with an individual amount of 600 euros; and 281 scholarships complementary to accommodation with an individual amount of 1,000 euros.

For its part, in the modality of scholarships for official face-to-face and non-face-to-face studies on the island, 35 scholarships have been announced for university studies of Degree, each endowed with 600 euros; 10 scholarships for official Master's studies with an individual amount of 900 euros; and 15 scholarships complementary to Student Mobility Programs with an individual amount of 600 euros, they add.
