The Cabildo of Lanzarote has opened this Monday, September 1st, the registration period for local establishments to join the fourth edition of the Bonos Consume Lanzarote campaign, an already consolidated initiative that aims to exceed the last number of participating businesses and that has multiplied the public investment of the Institution to subsidize the purchase of vouchers by consumers.
The island's president, Oswaldo Betancort, has stressed that this campaign is one of the current government group's firm commitments aimed at families. "That's why," he said, "it is essential to continue adding more establishments to the initiative, because the more businesses that are encouraged, the easier it will be for consumers to participate and the greater the shared benefit. This union strengthens the island's business fabric and ensures that the campaign is consolidated and continues to grow."
For his part, the Minister of Commerce, Armando Santana, encourages the business community to participate in this new edition: "We increased the island's contribution by more than 100,000 euros so that this initiative continues to grow, generating a positive impact on employment and the local economy. We want more and more businesses on the island to benefit from this tool that channels resources directly to local commerce."
Registrations for businesses will be open until October 31 on the platform www.consumelanzarote.org, while the sale and exchange of vouchers by buyers will take place from September 19 to November 15, 2025.
The Cabildo, together with Felapyme, invites all businesses on the island to join this dynamization campaign that once again places local consumption at the center of the economic promotion led by President Oswaldo Betancort.
