The Cabildo of Lanzarote has definitively approved two other lines of competitive co-financing subsidies granted by the Physical Activity and Sports area.
In this case, definitive approval has been given to line 3 of the subsidy for the promotion of indigenous sports, for a sum close to 27,000 euros; and line 2 for travel with an amount that amounts to 590,000 euros.
“With the approval of these two lines, essential programs for island sports are supported, facilitating both the conservation of traditional modalities and the participation of clubs and athletes in competitions outside the island,” assured the president of the Cabildo, Oswaldo Betancort.
For his part, the counselor of the area of Physical Activity and Sports, Juan Monzón, wanted to congratulate the team of the Insular Sports Service "for the work done in completing the necessary files to close the procedure for these subsidies". "We continue on the path and work tirelessly to finish the payment of all lines as soon as possible," he asserted.
