The Cabildo of Lanzarote hosted last Friday, in the Session Hall of the Corporation, the celebration of the third meeting of the Governing Board of the Biosphere Reserve Council, which studied "issues related to the Hydrological Plan and the infrastructures and investments planned in water".
The Councilor for the Environment and Biosphere Reserve and Vice President of the Council, Ariagona González, presented at this meeting the Hydrological Plan, "a document that studies the infrastructures and investments that are planned in this area and promotes the development and sustainable use of its resources".
“All the efforts of the Cabildo are focused on the use of resources and promoting sustainable development, so we consider it essential to address issues such as the Hydraulic Plan and the Canary Islands Waste Plan (PIRCAN)”, says the Councilor for the Environment, Ariagona González.
