The Tías City Council has published on the Public Sector Procurement Platform the call for tenders, through an open procedure, for the supply of four SUV-type vehicles for the Local Police of Tías. The contract has an estimated value of €273,122.85 (taxes included) and the deadline for submitting bids is November 25.
The purpose of the intended contract is the supply of three A-SUV type patrol vehicles, with a detainee area and kit, and one patrol vehicle of the same type but without a detainee kit. All vehicles will be labeled with the corporate image and will have the technical characteristics and equipment necessary to perform surveillance and citizen security functions.
The delivery time once the contract is signed will be 210 calendar days, and the warranty period against any manufacturing and assembly defect, both of the vehicle and the equipment, will be two years without mileage limits.
In addition, the Tías City Council has put out to tender the contract for the supply of four electronic control weapons or devices, their tactical accessories, and user licenses. The estimated amount of this contract will be 33,207.66 euros (taxes included), and the deadline for submitting bids is November 14.
The mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz Saavedra, emphasizes that "this investment is part of the government group's commitment to improving material resources and modernizing the Local Police of Tías."
He adds that "citizen security is a priority for this City Council, and providing our agents with the appropriate resources is essential so that they can carry out their work effectively, comfortably, and with guarantees."
Cruz Saavedra also emphasizes that "with the progressive renewal of the vehicle fleet and the incorporation of new equipment, we continue to advance in the professionalization of the force and in the provision of a closer and more efficient service to the public."
