The Yaiza City Council has published this Monday the tender announcement for the purpose of contracting the service and supply for the maintenance and cleaning of playgrounds, sports courts, and biosanitary areas in the municipality with a base auction budget of 776,000 euros, including taxes. The initial duration of the contract is three years, and companies interested in the tender can submit offers until Saturday, August 8, 2026.
Óscar Noda, mayor of Yaiza, points out that "from the departments of Sports and Parks, led by Ángel Lago and Rubén Arca, respectively, we have made a notable investment in new leisure and recreational areas for citizen enjoyment, and now we are strongly committed to optimizing their conservation."
The awarded company undertakes to carry out the work in a thirty of municipal facilities: cleaning, inspection, certification, conservation, repair, occasional replacement, and accessory installation of elements in playgrounds, sports courts, and biosanitary areas located in different southern towns.
The technical specifications detail children's games, biosanitary machines, goals, baskets, indicator signs, enclosures, benches, perimeter or retaining walls, trash cans, safety flooring, accesses, shade elements such as sails or similar, posts, anchors, supports, and other auxiliary elements functionally linked to each area.
The awarded company must carry out an individualized inventory and technical diagnosis of all leisure and recreational areas, to immediately assume their maintenance in adequate conditions of safety, cleanliness, healthiness, accessibility, functionality, and ornamentation with the established frequencies.
