The Haría City Council is putting out to tender the contract for the comprehensive management of the summer school, an initiative aimed at enrolled minors in the municipality that seeks to promote the reconciliation of personal and work life for families during the holiday period, while offering an educational and recreational framework through a detailed program of suitable activities and methodology.

The mayor, Alfredo Villalba, highlights the importance of this service for the families of the municipality and assures that "it is a fundamental resource during the summer months." "We continue to bet on initiatives that facilitate reconciliation and that, at the same time, guarantee safe, educational, and coexisting spaces for our minors," he indicates.

For her part, the Councilor for Education, Evelia García, underlines the pedagogical and social value of the program. "We want children to enjoy an enriching summer, with activities adapted to their needs and that promote values such as creativity, companionship, and participation," she states.

The contract has a base tender budget of 59,720.78 euros and will take place between July 1 and August 31. The activities will be carried out at the CEIP San Juan, in Haría, and at the CEIP La Garita, in Arrieta, from 07:15 to 15:15, Monday to Friday.

The program initially includes 100 places, distributed between both educational centers. All minors participating in the summer school must have been enrolled during the school year in the nursery, early childhood education, or primary education centers of the municipality of Haría.

Depending on the number of enrolled individuals, groups will be established respecting the maximum ratio of 22 minors per monitor in primary education, 16 in early childhood education and 2-3 years old, 10 in the age range of 1-2 years old, and 8 in the age range between 0-1 year/s, and groups may be established in each school.

Children with special needs must also be taken into account with a maximum ratio of 5 minors per monitor, reducing this ratio depending on their degree of autonomy.

The contracting is processed through a simplified open procedure and interested companies can submit their offers until June 8 through the Public Sector Contracting Platform.
