The Teguise City Council has finalized the internal administrative procedure with the Lanzarote Cabildo, which aimed to process favorable reports for the execution of the improvement and conditioning work on the LZ-409 road, which connects the towns of Mozaga and El Peñón.
“We trust that once this procedure is resolved, the improvement work on this road, which is highly demanded by the cycling community and the residents of the area, can be carried out as soon as possible,” declared the mayor, Oswaldo Betancort, who also announced that “in a few days, the legal reports that unblock the work on the Nazaret road and also the Santa Margarita bike lane will be issued,” which the technical team of the Teguise City Council is working on.
In addition, the Urban Planning and Technical Office area, coordinated by Councilor Olivia Duque, has reported on the different projects with a favorable technical report worth 500,000 euros to carry out water pipelines affecting various points of the municipality, as well as agricultural pipelines in different rural areas of Teguise.
