Teguise completes the new children's park in Los Cocoteros

The Roads and Works area of Teguise has completed the renovation of the children's park in the coastal town of Los Cocoteros and announces that the renovation of three sports courts and three children's parks in the town of Tahíche has already begun.

Construcciones Sanabria is the company in charge of executing the works in the free leisure spaces located on Miguel Covarrubias, Gustavo Adolfo Bécquer and Juan De Flandes streets, in Tahíche, which have multi-purpose courts complemented with children's play areas in the form of small parks.

With an approximate budget of 460,000 euros, the renovation of these sports and children's leisure areas will consist of the installation of new pavement, shade areas, bio-healthy elements, furniture such as benches, goals, basketball hoops, swings, seesaws, net games, oars, as well as galvanized steel doors, new fencing, bicycle parking and information signs.

Oswaldo Betancort, and the Councilor for Contracting, Olivia Duque, celebrate the completion of the park in Los Cocoteros and recall that the Teguise City Council will soon present a comprehensive project for the renovation of the network of more than 40 parks and sports and leisure spaces throughout the municipality.

The lighting of the Villa's soccer field, the sports court and wrestling field of La Graciosa, and the lighting of the Cocederos de Costa Teguise avenue (from the King's house to Las Cucharas), which have funding of 1.2 million euros from ERDF funds corresponding to Teguise, are also about to be tendered.
