The Teguise City Council, through the Department of Works, announces the call for tenders for the construction of 464 niches in the cemetery of Nuestra Señora de Las Nieves. The project has a base budget of 294,728 euros and is a Cooperation Plan of the Cabildo of Lanzarote.
Mayor Olivia Duque values this type of action that responds to a citizen demand and also serves to adapt the cemeteries of Teguise. "With these measures we want to guarantee the capacity and proper functioning of this municipal infrastructure for a long period of time to turn it into a pleasant place to pay tribute to our loved ones," the mayor clarifies.
The Councilor for Works, Eugenio Robayna, explains that "construction work, land preparation, trench excavation and construction work on buildings and civil engineering will be carried out to carry out this project." "We are continuing with the improvement actions in the main municipal cemetery of Teguise, which has undergone a transformation in recent years," he stresses.
Interested persons or entities may submit their applications through the electronic headquarters of the Municipal Council, until December 18, and will have a period of three months.
