The President of the Government, Pedro Sánchez, will meet this Monday in Lanzarote, where he is resting with his family, with the head of the Canary Islands Executive, Ángel Víctor Torres, and the president of the Cabildo of that island, Dolores Corujo, a meeting after which he will appear before the media.

That appearance, which will be open and in which Torres will accompany him, will take place in the Cabildo of Lanzarote and can be followed through "www.lamoncloa.gob.es" and social networks, as detailed this Sunday by the Presidency of the Government.

President Pedro Sánchez arrived in Lanzarote this Wednesday to begin his summer vacation, with plans to take advantage of his stay in the Canary Islands to travel to La Palma to fulfill his promise to return to that island to check how the reconstruction of the volcano's damage is progressing, as reported to Efe by government sources.

As in previous years, Pedro Sánchez and his family are staying in Lanzarote in La Mareta, a residence in Costa Teguise built in the seventies for Hussein of Jornania, who gave it to King Juan Carlos I and which currently belongs to the National Heritage.

At the moment, it is not known until what date Pedro Sánchez will remain in Costa Teguise. It is public that the Government resumes its full activity on August 23, when the first Council of Ministers will be held in Madrid after the summer break.
