The San Bartolomé City Council continues to improve and equip the municipality's urban park with new services, a space of more than 60,000 square meters intended for the leisure and enjoyment of citizens, with the installation of a new canine park that allows animals to exercise in a safe environment specifically adapted for them.
This new space, executed with its own staff from the Public Services Area, features different play elements for dogs, as well as benches and trash cans, facilitating the comfort of both animals and their owners and promoting responsible coexistence in a suitable and delimited environment.
The mayor of San Bartolomé, Isidro Pérez, highlighted that "we continue to fulfill commitments and advance in the improvement of our public spaces, equipping the urban park with new services designed for all citizens, including those who live with animals. This dog park is a clear commitment to animal welfare and to orderly and respectful coexistence."For his part, the Councilor for Animal Welfare, Fernando Vadillo, pointed out that "the installation of this canine park has been carried out with the City Council's own resources, optimizing resources and taking advantage of the work of municipal staff, who have been in charge of installing the furniture and play elements."Vadillo added that "this space allows dogs to exercise and socialize in a fenced-in and safe enclosure, while also improving the experience of park users, making the use of the environment more comfortable and orderly."With this action, the San Bartolomé City Council continues to advance in its commitment to animal welfare, the improvement of public services, and the creation of more complete, accessible urban spaces designed for the real needs of the municipality.
