The General Secretary of Nueva Canarias-Bloque Canarista (NC-bc), Luis Campos, visited Lanzarote this Sunday to hold a meeting with a hundred members and supporters of the organization.

Campos expressed his satisfaction with the work that has been carried out in Lanzarote, with special thanks to the historical militants, "those who are hardly seen, but who are fundamental for the organization to function. This is the case of Servando and Oliver, and many others who put their time into building the house of true Canarian nationalism."

The Canarianist pointed out that "it is a luxury to come to Lanzarote and see that the Insular Athenaeum (formerly called headquarters or local) is getting smaller and smaller. It means that the party on the island is alive, is eager and has a great future."

"We have enough strength to improve the lives of citizens"

"Today NC-bc in Lanzarote is a party that can look the island's residents in the eye and tell them that we have enough strength to improve their lives. We have a team, we have ideas, proposals, values and honesty," commented Campos, who valued the work of deputy Yoné Caraballo, defining him as "the deputy of all the Canary Islands."

"Today Yoné Caraballo is perhaps the most outstanding deputy in the Parliament of the Canary Islands. They respect him because when he speaks, he speaks with vehemence, but with the truth. In the street people understand him and love him," says Luis Campos.

Along with Luis Campos was also the recently appointed National Organization Secretary, Ayoze Corujo from Lanzarote, and the Insular President of NC-bc in Lanzarote and La Graciosa, Yoné Caraballo, together with the local spokespersons of NC-bc such as Marcos Lemes from Haría, Sheila Guillén from Arrecife, Belén Machín from Teguise, Juan de León from Tías and Pablo Yebra from San Bartolomé.
