The Nueva Canarias candidate for Congress of Deputies for Las Palmas in the general elections next Sunday, Luis Campos, requested last Wednesday that the useful vote of Canarian obedience be concentrated in Nueva Canarias in the province of Las Palmas, disputed with the extreme right. The number one on the electoral list to the Lower House made a call to the citizens, to mobilize to go to vote next July 23.
In a day developed in Lanzarote with various meetings and visits and four days before going to the polls, Luis Campos said he was "absolutely involved" to be in Madrid, "work and defend", in the next four years, "this land full time".
During the visit, he made a call to nationalist and Canarian voters who, at some point, opted for another political formation and to those who decided on other parties to "concentrate the useful vote" of the province of Las Palmas in Nueva Canarias. Campos explained that, at this time, "progressive Canarianism is fighting for a seat with the extreme right".
The candidate for the Senate for Lanzarote, Belén Machín, and the deputy in the Canarian Parliament, Yoné Caraballo; in the meeting held with the cultural association of motorhomes, they exposed the "problems suffered in maritime transfers" due to double insularity by being forced to move to Gran Canaria or Tenerife to go to the peninsula, with the consequent increase in the cost of the trip. It is "essential" to participate in that migration policy, stressed the number one on the electoral list.
As well as the commitment to reactivate a request made to the party leader, Pedro Quevedo in his capacity as a deputy in Congress and that could not be promoted when his work in the Lower House ended in June 2022.
This is the petition of the people of La Graciosa to create a minor local entity, such as a district, with its own legal personality for La Graciosa, which must be compatible with the Basic Law of Local Regime or promote a modification of the norm to achieve the objective, according to the candidates of progressive Canarianism.
