The celebration these days of the Isla de los Volcanes Rally will affect some roads in the municipality of Tías on Saturday, which will be closed to traffic for different periods of time. A section of the central avenue Alcalde Florencio Suárez will remain closed to traffic from 12:00 to 19:00, as the arrival of the first participant of the 4th section to the avenue is expected at 15:50.
This rally, organized by CD EVEsport, will also affect the LZ-504 road in the afternoon, which connects the town of Mácher with Puerto del Carmen, the road from Puerto Calero to the LZ-2 and the following roads in the Mácher area: Camino del Puerto, El Rompimiento, Las Casañas, Las Gavias, Las Quinzuelas, Las Viñas, Los Topes and Tres Peñas.
The Tías City Council recommends residents and visitors to plan their trips in advance and use alternative routes during the event. Remember that there will be a presence of security personnel and organization staff at strategic points to ensure the smooth running of the event and the safety of all attendees.
