Three officers from the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium's fire department have traveled to Gambia with the aim of leading a series of training sessions for the African country's emergency teams.

This professional expedition is part of the international cooperation and knowledge transfer actions that the entity develops, focusing its efforts on technical training on fire suppression, rescue protocols, and rescue techniques in complex environments.

The president of the Lanzarote Security and Emergency Consortium, Francisco J. Aparicio, has highlighted the importance of this mission, pointing out that the professionalism and vast experience of the island's firefighters "are today a benchmark that transcends our borders". Aparicio has stressed that this collaboration "not only strengthens the bonds of solidarity with the neighboring continent, but also allows us to export an emergency management model that has proven its effectiveness in Lanzarote and La Graciosa, contributing directly to improving the safety and response capacity of Gambian professionals in critical situations".

During their stay, the Lanzarote firefighters will share practical and theoretical knowledge, with a special emphasis on continuous technical training, a pillar that the Consortium considers fundamental for the excellence of public service. Francisco J. Aparicio expressed his pride in the commitment of these personnel, who represent the vocation of service and the human value that defines the institution.

Likewise, the president recalled that the participation of our firefighters as trainers in prestigious meetings is already a constant, consolidating the Consortium of Lanzarote as "a key player in advanced safety and rescue training at an international level".
