Bodegas El Grifo has been the chosen setting for the celebration of the second day of reflection Inspiring Dialogues 2025 organized by the Cabildo, through Saborea Lanzarote, and Euro-Toques. This meeting, designed to explore the role of creativity in the transformation of gastronomy, tourism and oenology on the island, was attended by leading professionals in the sector and served as a showcase for innovative ideas aimed at reinforcing Lanzarote's identity as a unique and differentiated destination.

During the opening ceremony, the president of the Cabildo de Lanzarote, Oswaldo Betancort, pointed out the importance of creativity and tradition in the evolution of the island's enogastronomic sector. "Lanzarote is an island that has known how to turn its singularities into opportunities. Our volcanic land has taught us to innovate without losing our roots. This capacity for adaptation and reinvention is what has allowed us to develop a gastronomic and oenological proposal that is admired today inside and outside our borders," said Betancort.

Betancort stressed the commitment of the island government to the promotion of the enogastronomic sector and the importance of this type of meeting. "We know that enogastronomy is not only a tourist attraction, but also a fundamental tool for economic development and the preservation of our traditions," said the president, who announced that "this year the Saborea Lanzarote Festival will be held again in Teguise after the good results of attendance and economic impact that have meant a return on investment close to 12 million euros. It is vital to promote what works."

For her part, the Councilor for Economic Promotion, Nori Machín, said that "this enriching day is very valuable for Lanzarote and La Graciosa, as it symbolizes our commitment to local products, to gastronomy, to the talent and creativity of our people, fundamental pillars of our identity and economic development."

The event, which brought together professionals from the gastronomy, tourism and wine sectors, "focused on creativity as a key element to generate unique experiences that build loyalty among both tourists and residents," said the managing director of Euro-Toques, Mayre Modrego, who thanked the Cabildo for its collaboration and highlighted "the great success of one of the most important gastronomic events on the national scene, the Saborea Lanzarote Festival and the value chain of all the agents involved in this event."
