The Tías City Council approved in August the bases of the call for the constitution of a reserve list of aerobic instructors through the merit competition system. Interested persons can submit their applications in person or through the municipal Electronic Headquarters until September 17.
The selected candidate will have to perform functions inherent to their category, such as aerobics classes for young people and adults, Pilates, maintenance gymnastics, and any other sports activity that is assigned to them.
In addition, they may support gym users if they require it and will be in charge of opening and closing the facilities according to the workers' schedules.
Among the requirements to apply for the position is to be in possession of the title of School Graduate, Graduate in Compulsory Secondary Education (ESO), or Vocational Training Cycle related to physical and sports activities.
Likewise, a photocopy proving the merits alleged and an updated employment history report issued by the corresponding body must be submitted, among other required documents. Professional experience, training and further education courses, and qualifications higher than the required ones will be valued.
The mayor of Tías, José Juan Cruz, the councilor for Human Resources, Tomás Silvera, and the councilor for Sports, Ismael Cruz, point out that this call will allow for a reserve list to be available to guarantee the adequate provision of municipal sports activities and to respond to any needs that may arise.
Cruz highlights "the importance of continuing to offer citizens a varied and quality sports program, with qualified professionals who contribute to promoting healthy lifestyle habits among young people and adults".
