The Tinajo City Council will allocate the 400 euros from the prize of the 2026 El Niño Lottery tickets, gifted by Mayor Jesús Machín to the municipality, to the purchase of a ticket for La Primitiva and Euromillions.
This was confirmed by the City Council on its Facebook profile following the results of the survey conducted by the Council itself, in which a total of 560 people voted. The data shows that 85% of participants voted yes to this proposal, while 14.8% chose to reject it.
According to the mayor, the purchase of La Primitiva and El Millón will take place every weekend until the end of the year, at a cost of 7.50 euros per draw and an approximate total expense of 405 euros. Jesús Machín has stated that he himself will pay the remaining five euros difference.
Thus, the mayor **already bought the first agreed-upon tickets last Saturday** and recalls that, in case of winning throughout the year, the benefit would go to those registered in Tinajo until December 15, 2025, a total of 7,076 people. However, in the photos attached by the City Council of the tickets, one is from La Primitiva and the other from La Bonoloto, not from La Primitiva and El Millón as indicated in the survey
