The Haría Town Council, through the Department of Contracting, is putting out to tender the project for the execution of works on the Tabayesco playground, with a budget of 40,477 euros. With this action, the Municipal Council seeks to improve the comfort, functionality and safety of users who use this facility.
This project, which has an execution period of seven weeks, is part of the 2022 Municipal Cooperation Plan of the Cabildo de Lanzarote and is fully financed by the Island Institution.
The mayor of Haría, Alfredo Villalba, states that "the renovation of the Tabayesco playground will guarantee the safety and accessibility of children
from the town".
"We continue to focus on the creation and improvement of leisure spaces, so that the children's community can enjoy and socialize in a suitable environment," the mayor highlights.
For her part, the Councilor for Contracting, Evelia García, assures that "this tender represents a further step in the Council's commitment to the
improvement of municipal infrastructures and the design of protected environments".
The actions contemplated in this exercise include the cleaning and clearing of the land, the paving of the area, the demolition of curbs to unify the area, the installation of playground equipment and gym machines, among others.
The tender, which will be carried out through a simplified open procedure and ordinary processing, is aimed at construction companies. Offers must be submitted electronically through the Public Sector Procurement Platform (PLACSP), before April 3.
