The Haría City Council continues to improve the public services provided to citizens with the incorporation of two amphibious wheelchairs on La Garita beach, provided by the Government of the Canary Islands. This action will allow for greater inclusion and accessibility in the coastal area. The mayor, Alfredo Villalba, appreciates the collaboration of the regional executive to promote the integration and social well-being of the municipality. "The collaboration between institutions allows us to advance in matters of disability and in offering the population the best assistance," he highlights.

For his part, the Councilor for Health, Marcos Lemes, explains that this adapted material will allow people with reduced mobility to bathe with total comfort and certainty. "Its design allows it to move through the sand to reach the water," he stresses.

The lifeguard company that provides care and services on the beach is REN. With this type of action, the "Haría Town Council is building a municipality committed to the inclusion and well-being of disabled people," they conclude.
